Postcard

from Postcard by Richard Lewis

lyrics

they're digging up the road at the foot of my hill
the cobbles and the sand are wet with rain
they closed of the road so it's very still
the woman at the deli was crying again
I wish you were here

and the job is OK now
the people are pretty friendly too
I ride my bike when it's not too wet
I think you'd like my neighbourhood
I wish you were here

I made some friends and i go out
I even went to church last sunday
I wish you were here
